Celebrating Rotary's Mission: "Service Above Self!"
Each year the Rotary Club of SLO Daybreak Charity Golf Tournament involves our club and the community in raising funds to benevolently give back to our local and international community. Net proceeds benefit local educational and vocational scholarships, local youth organizations and community service projects, and worldwide Rotary International service projects including polio immunizations.
In the 2017-18 Rotary year (July to June), SLO Daybreak Rotary awarded $40,488 locally in charitable contributions.

Local non-profit and community organizations we supported include Big Brothers Big Sisters of SLO County, Freeride and Sustainable Trails Association, Central Coast Autism Spectrum, First Tee Central Coast, French Hospital/Hearst Cancer Resource Center, HomeShareSLO, Literacy for Life, New Life K9s, Pregnancy & Parenting Support of SLO, Restorative Partners, SLO Noor Foundation, SLO County YMCA
National, international donations and funding included Days for Girls, Rotary Foundation’s Polio Plus campaign, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), Shelter Box USA, and Tepehua Community Center in Central Mexico.
